Porsche Mission E
The last time we saw a Porsche Mission E prototype out testing, it was accompanied by Teslas. No doubt Porsche has set the American electric cars as a benchmark. This time though, our spy photographer caught the company testing the Mission E not against Teslas, but against the Nürburgring.

The prototype shown above sadly doesn’t reveal much more than what we saw last time. Naturally, many of the extreme aspects of the concept, such as the massive undulating fenders, big splitters, and large side vent have been toned down. But all of the lines of the concept do remain. The slim headlights hide behind fake printed examples. There’s still a side vent on the front fender, as with the concept. The flush door handles and rear suicide doors are clearly gone, though. The rear doors will be conventional, based on the location of the handles, and the door handles themselves are semi-flush units.

We currently expect the Mission E to go on sale in 2019, and it should go for between $80,000 and $90,000. That pricing puts it right in the middle of Panamera and Tesla Model S territory. Final performance specifications have yet to be announced, but the concept had a claimed range of 310 miles in European testing, and the motors produced 590 horsepower.
